Opening Night Special: Buy one adult ticket for the February 14th performance and get the second one free; offer available at the Studio Theatre box office only, open Saturday mornings, 10:00 until noon, January 12 to February 9 and one hour before the performance, or by calling Diane at (613) 264-8862.

There are two casts with two slightly different versions of the musical both of which are written by the author and are faithful to the text.

Director C.Lee Bates, decided to present a "family-friendly" version due to some adult language in the regular version. The "Family" version will be presented in matinee performances on February 16, 17 & 23.

The adult version (6 performances - all evenings and the last Sunday Feb 24th matinee) contains some language and mature content while the family-friendly version is more suitable for the younger audiences.

The first and regular version is performed by a predominantly ADULT cast.  The family-friendly version is performed by a cast of extremely talented high-school aged students called the YOUTH cast.   Both versions of SPELLING BEE  are expected to be of equally high quality.
