A BIT ABOUT US
The Studio Theatre is located in the heart of Perth, Ontario, only a few feet from the Tay Basin, which is a lovely area close to shops, restaurants and bars. The Thomas Wright Building at 63 Gore Street East in Perth, Ontario has been the home of the Studio Theatre since 1997. This building was erected in 1851, and was occupied by the Wright family, as furriers, from 1867 until 1930.

In later years, Jack Thomas, Optometrist, owned the building and operated his practice from the lower level. In 1997, after years of neglect, the building was restored and the upper floor became the site of the new theatre.

Today, the Studio Theatre is proud to host theatre performances, concerts and special events. Its acoustics are excellent and with just under 200 seats, it is definitely a favourite in the area.
